Sura ya 9: Kuchanganya Chakula

Feed formulation ni kuunganisha ingredients kwa uwiano unaolenga mahitaji ya mnyama na gharama inayokubalika. Formula nzuri haiwezi kutengenezwa kwa kuangalia protein pekee. Lazima izingatie energy, amino acids, fibre, minerals, vitamins, ingredient limits, palatability na ubora halisi wa malighafi.
Hatua za kuchanganya kwa vitendo
- Tambua kundi: weaner, grower, finisher, pregnant sow, lactating sow au boar.
- Pima uzito wa ingredients kwa scale; usitumie makopo yasiyo na calibration kama kipimo cha kudumu.
- Angalia quality kabla ya mixing: harufu, ukungu, unyevu na contamination.
- Changanya ingredients ndogo kama premix, salt na minerals kwanza na kiasi kidogo cha bran ili kutengeneza pre-mix; ndipo uisambaze kwenye batch kubwa.
- Changanya mpaka rangi na texture iwe uniform.
- Andika formula, tarehe, supplier na batch size.
- Hifadhi feed iliyotengenezwa kwenye sehemu kavu na itumike kabla ya kuharibika.
Mfano 1: Grower ration inayopimwa kwa batch tofauti
Mfano huu una asilimia zifuatazo: maize 45%, wheat pollard 20%, maize/rice bran 10%, sunflower cake 12%, soybean meal 8%, fish meal 2.5%, limestone 1.2%, phosphate/bone mineral source 0.5%, salt 0.3%, premix 0.5% (ikiwa label ya premix inasema 0.5%).

Formula hizi zinaonyesha kanuni ya phase feeding, lakini hazibadilishi feed analysis. Kwa mfano, mashudu ya alizeti yenye maganda mengi yana protein/energy tofauti na mashudu yenye quality nzuri. Bone meal na mineral phosphorus products pia hutofautiana; tumia product iliyo salama na yenye specification.
Pearson Square kwa lugha rahisi
Pearson Square husaidia kuchanganya ingredients mbili ili kufikia kiwango fulani cha nutrient, kwa mfano crude protein. Tuseme ingredient A ina 8% protein na ingredient B ina 35%, na tunataka mchanganyiko wa 16%.
- Sehemu za A = 35 – 16 = 19
- Sehemu za B = 16 – 8 = 8
- Jumla ya sehemu = 27
- A = 19/27 = 70.4%
- B = 8/27 = 29.6%
Hivyo, kwa protein pekee, mchanganyiko ungekuwa takriban 70.4% ya A na 29.6% ya B. Lakini huo si complete pig ration: haujahakikisha energy, lysine, calcium, phosphorus, salt, vitamins, fibre wala safety. Pearson Square ni zana ya hatua moja, si formula ya mwisho.
Kutathmini formula baada ya kuanza kuitumia
Pima average daily gain, FCR, body condition, diarrhoea, feed wastage na uniformity ya batch. Ikiwa growth imeshuka baada ya kubadilisha supplier, chunguza ingredient quality kabla ya kulaumu genetics. Hifadhi sample ndogo ya kila batch kwa muda mfupi ikiwa farm ni kubwa; inaweza kusaidia katika investigation ya tatizo la feed.
